BEING AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING VARIOUS TRANSFERS AND APPROPRIATIONS AS SET FORTH BELOW, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SALEM, STATE OF OHIO:
SECTION 1:
That the sum of $954.00 be, and it hereby is transferred and appropriated within the General Fund as follows:
$954.00 from Conference, #110-7125-5-2114 to Fire Overtime, #110-7125-5-0112.
SECTION 2:
That the sum of $1,706.00 be, and it hereby is transferred and appropriated within the General Fund as follows:
$1,706.00 from Schooling, #110-7125-5-2210 to Fire Overtime, #110-7125-5-0112.
SECTION 3:
That the sum of $10,000.00 be, and it hereby is transferred and appropriated within the General Fund as follows:
$5,000.00 from Council Contingency, #110-7720-5-4220 to Transfer to Shade Tree Fund, #110-7728-5-7126; $5,000.00 from Council Contingency, #110-7720-5-4220 to Fire Overtime, #110-7125-5-0112.
SECTION 4:
That the sum of $400.00 be, and it hereby is transferred and appropriated within the General Fund as follows:
$400.00 from Mileage, #110-7125-5-2112 to Fire Overtime, #110-7125-5-0112.
SECTION 5:
This Council finds and determines that all formal actions of this Council concerning and relating to the adoption of this ordinance or resolution were adopted in an open meeting of this Council and that all deliberations of this Council and of any of its committees that resulted in those formal actions were in meetings open to the public in compliance with the law.
SECTION 9:
That this ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health and safety in the City of Salem, and shall go into immediate effect for the reason that the transfer and/or appropriation of said funds are immediately needed for current expenses.
