BEING A RESOLUTION COMMENDING THOMAS SHOEMAKE, FOR HIS DEDICATED SERVICE TO THE CITY OF SALEM AS PRESIDENT OF COUNCIL FROM JANUARY 1, 1998, THROUGH APRIL 16, 1999.
WHEREAS, THOMAS SHOEMAKE served honorably as PRESIDENT OF COUNCIL from January 1, 1998, through April 16, 1999;
WHEREAS, we, the members of the Salem City Council wish to express our appreciation and commend THOMAS SHOEMAKE for his dedicated service.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SALEM, STATE OF OHIO:
SECTION 1:
That this Council does for its members and for the citizens of Salem pay tribute to THOMAS SHOEMAKE for his dedicated service as PRESIDENT OF COUNCIL during the term of January 1, 1998 through April 16, 1999.
SECTION 2:
That this Resolution be filed in the Book of Ordinances and Resolutions of the City of Salem, and that the Clerk of this Council be directed to deliver a copy of this Resolution to THOMAS SHOEMAKE.
